Our teaching staff consists of dedicated and caring individuals who are trained in child development and early childhood education. Their balance of education and experience enables Bethany Lutheran to offer a preschool and early kindergarten program of the highest quality. Additionally, the entire staff participates in on-going in-service education and studies for professional advancement in order to remain current to the needs of children and parents.

Our Director of Early Childhood Education is Margaret Sanderson. Margaret earned her A.A. Degree in Child Development from Solano Community College, and her Child Development Site Supervisor Permit from the State of California, Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Margaret has served as a Mentor Teacher through Solano Community College, is a Professional Growth Advisor for the State of California, an Accreditation Validator for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and is on the Board of the Napa-Solano Association of the Education of Young Children. Margaret has been a teacher and Assistant Director of Bethany Lutheran Preschool for the past twenty-nine years. 2009-2010 will be Margaret's fifth year serving as our Director.
